Web Site Design Content - Why Colors are King
You may not realize it, but many of your website visitors form an immediate opinion about you and your website. The opinion that is formed in this instantaneous way is done so subconsciously. You might wonder why this happens. It has absolutely nothing to do with the text on your website. And yet your visitor will still form their instant opinion without even reading a single word of your costly copy.
It doesn't matter either, whether the quality of the images on your website are of the highest. Nor does your offer matter. You could be promoting a sensational deal, like selling dollars for dimes. But this too, will be overlooked by the site visitor. This is because the instant opinion is made when your web page is displayed to your visitor. You may have guessed there is something subliminal at work here. In a way, that is right. Immediate opinions are formed by visitors to every single website. This may surprise you, but the answer is colors. Your visitor's instant opinion of your website is primarily due to the color scheme which you have used.
This is because colors are psychological. They engender an intuitive reaction which we can't control. We can't help ourselves. Colors bring us these emotions and feelings whether we want them or not! As you will know, millions are spent by big companies in deciding the correct colors of new products and in their marketing campaigns. Big companies realize that colors are a psychological feature, and they can influence our reception of their marketing. In their business propositions, the big companies understand that the use of appropriate colors is a key element. What webmasters have to realize, and this can be very important, is that the same color psychology applies to our web pages.
By the psychological power you could encourage your website visitors to leave your page the instant they see it. No matter what your website is about, it may simply be unsuccessful due to the colors you're using. Forget the text, it might never be read! The good news, however, is that you can use colors to engender a really positive reaction. This color psychology is nothing new. In fact, it's been with us for years and years. Whatever our role in life, colors convey emotions to our subconscious mind.
For example, a particular color scheme could convey a good feeling in each of us. However, a different color scheme might convey not so good feelings. In essence, you might send a sense trust, warmth and belonging. Conversely, the feeling sent may be one of distrust, coolness and rejection. The following list gives an idea of the emotions associated with their respective colors:
RED Excitement, energy, danger, love, leadership, sense of power, strength etc
ORANGE Comfort, steadfastness, cheerfulness, courage, confidence, playfulness, friendliness
YELLOW Curiosity, brightness, organization, intelligence, joy, amusement, caution etc
GREEN Harmony, nature, money, healing, health, life, food etc
BLUE Trustworthiness, stability, peace, tranquility, love, acceptance, patience etc
PURPLE Nobility, dignity, independence, royalty, luxury, ambition, wisdom etc
BROWN Reliability, nature, comfort, tribal, earthiness, durability, primitive etc
BLACK Sophistication, dramatic, power, formality, style, health, elegance etc
WHITE Innocence, cleanliness, fresh, goodness, easy, simplicity, purity etc
When designing your web pages, you ideally need to ensure that the color scheme you use is consistent with your offering. The reason is that your visitors' subconscious minds will look to reconcile the color with the message. If they are irreconcilable, you will find your visitors click away from your page very quickly. Which means, your visitor will be lost. The important issue therefore is that it is essential the right color scheme is used on your website. If you do this, your website will produce the results you're looking for. In summary, the difference between the right and wrong color scheme on your website can be the difference between profit and loss.

Using HTML in Website Design
There are tremendous advantages to knowing HTML and you do not have to pay someone else to apply it. Without HTML you are limited to just plain text on your web pages, whereas using HTML you can apply all the functions that are relevant to your website design. You can use HTML language in the home and section pages of your website or anywhere else that it is applicable.
You can use HTML to format text in many ways such as different fonts, colors and sizes. You can also format paragraphs in any way you find suitable and even wrap text around images and create special effects. Another useful application is to crease tables which can e applied to numerical data and limited text. There is also the option of creating lists using different symbols and numbers for more readable presentation.
In addition to basic text and numbering you can use HTML to drop an image taken from another website on a page. Flash Animation files are also useful HTML applications. You may also include audio, video and sound files in your webpage using this language.
Finally, the ability to use HTML especially in text fields will provide you with tremendous website design power and allow you to dramatically change the look of your site. It is better to create your website using HTML as you will have a more pleasant and functional site and the difference can be astounding.

How I Found my Niche
Three years ago our son was tragically removed from our presence due to an automobile accident and I think that has been the hardest thing a mother can deal with. Then just a couple of months ago, our other son saved his fathers life by donating a kidney to him. The kidney transplant took place March 26, 2007 and the followup has been fantastic.
I think that if we just spend our time thinking about how bad we have it, we have to look at how good we have it and how great our God really is in that he has given us a promise that he will never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). God is so good and each day we see new ways that he takes care of us.
While there are many things going through our minds during all these issues, the one main thing is the lack of cash as we go from appointment to appointment. It is impossible to maintain a job because of not being able to be at work. So, I began searching the internet and found many opportunities to build a home-based business. To work from home and be able to create cash in spite of my busy routine seemed to be my answer.
First, I was able to concentrate on our health by adding the vitamins and minerals missing from my family's diet. I found the answer in Vemma products and their combinations of vitamin and minerals including Aloe Vera and Mangosteen. I invite you to read more on my website www.myvemma.com/lenaruddy. Here you will discover how to add Vemma to your diet as well as adding cash to your bank account.
Second, I discovered the CMPS program which is an online business opportunity involving internet marketing and the placement of media advertising to create personal wealth. To learn more, please call 1-800-719-8267 ext. R4076 or visit my websites

Don't Build a Website - Build a Moneysite
However, today they are nowhere near enough to make serious money online. To make money online, the idea of a website needs to be expanded from a hosting account PLUS some webpages INTO a complete and automated business engine.
The website is where your potential customers find you on the Internet. A website is where you present your products or services. A website is where those potential customers interact with you online business.
But to turn a website into a business, or better yet a money website or money machine, you need to incorporate a lot more technology. You need to add additional software applications to: create and manage your webpages, generate headline ideas, add audio and video to present your products, track the sources of your traffic, test your conversions, collect and process credit cards, shipping the products and keep track of the money and business stats.
This is a lot of technology to purchase, set up and manage.
So you have two choices, either hire an experienced professional webmaster to identify the technology pieces you'll require and then purchase and set them up for you...
OR
Spend a few years learning enough to do it yourself.
If you are going to do it yourself, here's what you need.
* A good hosting account.
* Learn some HTML
* An easy to use sitebuilder application
* An email autoresponder
* A traffic tracking software application
* A easy to use split testing application
* A merchant account for credit cards
* A stats package to monitor the stats and money
You can expect to spend 12 to 18 months learning the basics of webhosting, HTML, and the basics of numerous software applications. And remember that means you're not spending time on the more important aspects of getting traffic and converting it into customers and money.
And that is CRITICAL.
Alex Mandossian, one of the uber successful Internet marketers, gave me the keys to the kingdom when he said:
"The secret to making money online is to spend NO MORE than 10% of your time on technology, so you can spend 90% of your time on getting traffic and converting it into customers and money... because that's how the made is made online."
He then finished with this critical piece:
"There's no money in learning the technologies... unless you want to be a webmaster."
So if you are not a geek and you don't have the money to hire a professional webmaster, then you should avoid the technology trap (of trying to learn and manage it yourself) and instead, get one of the hosted programs that provides all the money making technologies required.
Not only do they save you a huge amount of time, but they save enormous amounts of money. Typically these services cost about one-tenth the cost of purchasing separate software applications. And the savings really add up when you factor in the cost of integrating all the applications so that they all work together as a money site or money machine.
As Alex said, your key to making money is to get someone else to handle the technology requirements so you can focus on the most important traffic and conversion issues. So either hire a webmaster or get one of the integrated money website programs.

Web Design, Will Visual Effects Catch a Viewers Eye
If you are looking to have a Web Design that has great graphics and visual effects that will catch a viewer's eye then the first step is to find a template that matches your desired web design. A template is the first step to a web design; it is you skeleton if you will. Finding a template that has all that you want plus the graphics that may suit you best is not too difficult. It just requires you to spend some time on the internet searching through the hundreds of companies that offer template services. In one of those companies you are bound to find something that you like. Not to mention that with the use of a template you can have a uniform professional web design.
Once you have the template picked there is that pesky matter of the content on your web page. A reader will not want to read something that makes them feel that they are reading a school textbook. They are going to want something that is entertaining and feels enjoyable to read.
Easy navigation through the web design will aid in the viewers ease through out the website making it user friendly and pleasant. To do this makes room for navigation cues that are on the website directly and in a logical place on the page. For example it is best to have the navigation cues at the top or the bottom of the page as opposed to the middle of the page.
Don't forget about HTML. That code that does wonders for any website that it is put on. HTML can aid in the efficiency of a Web Design and help to produce a much more attractive web page. It can also add to the entertainment of the content by adding color, changing size etc.
Putting all of this together may seem a lot at first. However, breaking it down step by step in the web design process will make designing that website easy, fast and more efficient bringing in the desired traffic. With just a little time you web design can be a fun creative endeavor.

Web Design using Templates - A beginners guide
Free Templates.
If you're really determined to get a template for free, a better way of doing it is to use the ones that come for free with whatever software you're using. WordPress or Joomla, for example, has some very clean, attractive templates. However you do it, though, you have to realise that free templates will never be unique: your website will look just like hundreds of other websites out there that found the same free template you did.
Cheap Templates.
Once you start to get into the territory of paid-for templates, things start to look up. The idea behind sites that sell templates is that they can pay designers a proper rate to do something good once, and then resell it as many times as they want for a relatively low price. This lets designers be paid for as many designs as they want without ever having to deal with customers, and it lets customers buy and use the designs for a much lower price than they'd usually pay for something a lot worse - and that they can't see in advance.
Exclusive Templates.
After realising how much some people dislike other sites being able to use their design, many template sites started selling exclusive templates - ones that are only sold once, to one website, and then taken down. They found themselves with a runaway hit on their hands.
This way, designers are free to create something great, and customers can take it if they like it or look at hundreds of alternatives if they don't. It takes all the uncertainty and negotiation out at both ends, and leaves both the designer and the customer much happier than they would have been. Of course, if there is something small you want changed, most sites are happy to get the designer to do it for you for a small extra fee.
The choice is upto you on which path to take with designing your website. We hope this article has helped, good luck and happy designing..

How to Create a Great User Experience
The following list includes the user experience attributes that are most important to making your small site successful:
1) Providing the best context.
This involves giving visitors to your site clear cues about how to use it and what to expect from it. (In other words, your customer should never get lost in your website.)
2) Providing good task orientation.
Visitors to your site must be able to easily find and do what they came to do. They should never have to work too hard or spend too much time finding something that is important.
3) Maintaining hierarchy or using organizational guidelines.
Good structure and organization can greatly help your visitors understand the relative importance of various parts of your website. In setting up the structure for your site, you should think carefully about the various paths the visitor to your site will encounter. Everything should be in its proper place and nothing should be too difficult to find. If a visitor needs to click too many links to get access to an important feature, your site likely has become too complex with too much hierarchy.
Good Context
Context is crucial to creating a useful experience for visitors. It helps people relate to your message and know what to expect as they use your website. The key to providing context on your website lies in giving visitors clear directions and explanations about where they are on your site, where they can go, what they can do when they get there, and how they can get back on track if something goes wrong.
As the old adage about storytelling goes, first tell them what you're going to tell them, then tell them, then tell them what you told them. Giving your audience some perspective on your message through repetition strengthens what you have to say, and it helps your audience focus on your key points and how your business can benefit them. Websites, like stories, can have a narrative structurelinks, buttons, and navigation that propel the experience.
Successful small sites give users context by maintaining a consistent layout and color scheme; adhering to well-delineated areas for content, navigation, and marketing/advertising messages; and presenting information with engaging, benefit-oriented headlines, useful labels, and error messages. The bloated site, on the other hand, mixes ad-like animated graphics and logos with content, changes its look and navigation from page to page, and uses murky or inconsistent language in its headlines and text. Visitors to bloated sites get confused, give up, and leave.

Church Website Design - Beauty and Art
1. Use textual elements. The characteristics of good church websites used text font, size, style, and line spacing well. This made the sites look professional, and the reader wanted to continue looking at the text.
2. Colors that convey emotion. One major characteristic is a good use of colors. Mostly warm colors that are gentle and soothing to the visitor.
3. Non-conventional shapes. Rounded corners, patterns, layers, make most church websites escape a concrete type look. The use of rounded corners in CSS design, and non-traditional shapes made most church websites eye-catching
4. Good looking people... I'm such a proponent of using professional photos on sites. Photos can make or break a site. It seems like most church websites get the edge by having nice smiling families, kids, teens, and general emotion being showed through nice photos.
5. Clean contact forms. I love nice clean contact forms. Since contact forms are the primary vehicle of churches to gain visitors through their website, nice contact forms goes a long way. Again, rounded corners, styled CSS gives a great effect.
So in summary, there is a change in church website design that is paying special attention to artistic style and beauty. Hooray! For more information and samples of good church websites, visit our homepage below.

Design Elements of a Successful Real Estate Website
If you are in the business of selling Provo real estate you need to indicate that clearly on your website. If you allow for the visitors to your site to view multiple listing services then you should be sure that your site tells them how to view the listings that they want to see, or they may assume that you don't have anything to show them that fits their needs. If you don't allow the client to view multiple listing service entries you may want to feature a few different homes on the website so that your potential clients will get a feel of what you can offer them.
If you not only specialize in Provo real estate but also specialize in Alpine real estate you will want to indicate this clearly, as well. The clearer you can be about the real estate that you specialize in the better because this lets people know right out of the gate if you will be able to help them. Remember if you specialize in more than one area to have the multiple listing services for both featured on your site or at least have a couple pictures of real estate in both areas. A website full of writing may be informative, but you need to break it up with pictures to keep the interest of those that visit your website.
Make sure that your website offers contact information for you front and center. People don't like to have to search for this information and if it is in a place that they can see it you will bet that they will give you a call. If you set up your website in a very attractive and user friendly way you can easily increase your sales because potential clients will find you and know that they like what you have to offer before they even speak to you.

How to Survive in a Crowded Local Web Design Market
If you would like to try to keep afloat in the Phoenix Arizona web design field you need to be willing to get to know your audience. What type of services do you specialize in? If you have a specialty you should make it known, for instance if you specialize in corporate web design and this is where the money is, why not make that obvious so that way you don't have to try to offer rates that will satisfy both the individual as well as the company? Many find that when they cater to a niche market that it is much easier to stay afloat and stay competitive, yet still make the money that you should make as a web designer.
Another thing that you can do to make sure that your Scottsdale Arizona web design or other area company stays afloat is to be sure that you are optimizing your website so that it can be seen. The mistake that a lot of designers make is that they don't optimize their own websites. If you optimize your website using links, keyword rich text, meta tags, and well written page titles you will make it easier for search engine spiders to find your page and report your page back to those that are looking for web design help.
While it seems odd that web designers wouldn't optimize their websites, it happens more often than not because they just assume that people will find them because they are well known in the community. You need to remember that with the ever growing web design market you need to market yourself all of the time so that you can be seen by everyone that is looking for your type of services, even if they are new to town and don't know about the services that you provide. Take the time to optimize your website when you create it so that you don't ever have to worry all that much about the competition because you will know without a doubt that you will be seen by people who use a search engine to fulfill all of their web design needs.

The Power Of Web Design
Nobody wants to browse a web page full of text, because let's face it, it's outright boring. When creating a web site, the developer has to implement in the web site components which will make the visitor come back and visit the page again. The perfect way to do this is by using web design thus making the site attractive and eventually, popular.
A major part in web design is represented by flash, without it, the Internet wouldn't be as popular as it is today. Flash makes it all possible: attractive design, catchy animations, music, videos, games and the list could go on forever. Flash is considered the new wave, a reason for this is represented by the fact that with the help of flash, web sites are user interactive, making them a lot more interesting than regular web sites where everything is predefined without any real customizable options.
When it comes down to multimedia, take videos for example, flash movies can be stored in very small file sizes, so they can be downloaded rapidly which is a major advantage because nobody wants to wait minutes for a page to fully load. Of course, there is a downside to all of this, too much graphics, videos, sounds will slow down the loading time and we all know, although patience is a virtue, most of us don't have it.
Web design plays an important role in marketing success. With an attractive web site, the success is guaranteed. Companies with professional web sites benefit from the advantages web design has to offer. Internet marketing is not all about getting as many visitors as possible but also to capture the interest of the visitor once he's on that specific web site, so what better way to do this if not by web design ?
Web design companies offer professional services for business companies that really want to make an impression on the web. You can tell a great deal about a company only by visualizing their web site that is why more and more companies hire web designers to create a professional web site that stands out from all the other sites.
Of course, a web site, theoretically is about the content but let's face it, without attractive design, fewer people will be curious about the content itself. Some of you may say, don't judge a book by its covers but this is not applicable in the web site area because it all comes down to one simple question: Which web sites do you remember and come back to again? The answer is pretty obvious; the ones with elegant graphics, the ones with visual aura that draw your attention from the first click.
For companies looking for a fast growth a professionally designed web site is the key. There are numerous examples of companies which after they redesigned their web site enjoyed a large growth in their domain of activity, improving their success.
In conclusion, web designing is about marketing, because making your web site look more attractive will give a big boost to your business; or if you have a personal web page you will enjoy looking at the traffic numbers which will certainly go up.
Summary: Web design is the key to Internet marketing success. Without an attractive web site, chances for a successful business are average and that is why web design companies are becoming more and more popular.

Web design with a difference
A lot has been written on web design that sell products and services but relatively few web designers know how or are even bothered about developing websites with the basic elements required to give your website a head start on search engines. Here are a few important Web Design tips that will set your website apart when it comes to ranking on search engines and selling your products and services.
1. Every web design should include the famous tags. There is no excuse for not including these in a web design from the outset. No matter what they say, tags have their say in the way search engines look at your website and no web design is complete without carefully chosen tags.
There are 3 important tags namely the Title tag, Description tag and the keywords tag. Each web page should have its own set of tags. What are these tags? These are words and phrases that are embedded in the HTML of the website and very easy to include in your web design. Let us look at each of these tags.
2. The Title tag is an important part of web design for search engine optimisation. This tag is likely to be picked up by search engines and displayed as a result header when a visitor finds your website on a search engine. This tag also appears as the title that in the blue strip at the top of your browser. A good web design will contain a short Title tag that includes the keywords you think visitors will use to find your site.
3. The Web design should also include the Description tag. This is a short description of what the web page is about and it often appears just below the title in search engine results. Although the importance of the Description tag in search engine ranking is uncertain, the description in a web design acts like a sales pitch. This is your opportunity to tell the visitor what the web page is about and why he or she should click on your website. Remember, web design is not just about building a website and getting it ranked. A good web design should do all this, get the visitor to click on your website when it is found and sell your products and services.
4. Let's look at the Keywords tag. A lot of web designs contain a mass of supposed key words in the Keywords tag. Keywords are the words or phrases that visitors use to search for websites on search engines. A good web design practice is to have focussed and themed web pages. This means that each web page should be focused on one keyword at a time and this keyword should be in the web page Keyword tag. It is very important that the keywords used in the tag also appear in the body of the text.
5. The h1, h2 headers are also important elements of a good Web Design. Use h1 and h2 headers as these are read by search engines. Use them as high up on your web page as possible and where possible use the keywords in the h1 header. H1 headers are by default large fonts. It is possible to format these so they match the overall look of the web design and retain their header properties.

Simple Web Design Tips
Firstly, a web site should be read easily. Therefore, the text and the background colors should be chosen carefully. For example, you should avoid a blue color text written on a black background. The result will be that the visitor of your site will leave it immediately. It is recommended to use a light colored background for a dark colored text. In addition, letters should not be too small or too large. If they are too small, Granny will not be able to order their new glasses online, and if they are too large it looks like they are invading your sight. In order to be sure that the visitors of your site are comfortable with your text, you should align it to the left. Furthermore, visitors should navigate easily through your site. Buttons or tabs or other graphic images should be available. Flashy effects should be avoided because they are tiring for the eyes. Statistics say that the number of schools in which green boards are used instead of black boards is increasing, because green is a reassuring color, so students provide better results in schools which use green boards. Thus, green color used anywhere on your site might be successful. Your links must be unique.
They must not be confounded with the titles. Information needed by visitors should be found in no more than three clicks. Otherwise, they will click off immediately. Part of a web designer's work is to use the color efficiently, so that it can present on the internet, information, products, services or organizations. Colors have impact not only upon our health, but also upon human psychic. They can stimulate it, they can convince it to buy a product or a piece of information, or they can even inspire it. Even if green is good for our health, experts established that blue is the most agreeable color. Blue is one of the colors which express certitude almost in all the cultures (compared to black which in most of the cultures suggest death, bad luck etc.). You can use confidently blue color in almost all kinds of sites, irrespective of the purpose of the site (commercial, art, governmental etc.) or of its location (North America, Europe etc.). Why is blue color so agreeable for the human eye?
The same experts speculate that this is possible because human psychic associates blue color with the sky - and its implications, with religious or metaphysical connotations - which must not be ignored - and of other nature (freedom, universality etc.) of this universal constant in human existence. Other colors can not be classified so easily. Pink, for example, for visitors from India or Europe is associated with feminine issues, which can't be agreeable for men (imagine a pink web site for tools!). But in Japan for example, pink is appreciated by both sexes. You also may associate the color of the site with the products sold on it. For example, think of the suitable colors for a natural remedies site! Thus, the problem of colors is essential when you want to have your own web site. Colors do send messages.
